Crockpot Country Ham Steaks Recipe Tip
The ham steak slices that come pre-packaged and sliced with the bone are very tasty but using a whole ham that can be sliced really tastes much better.

Country Ham Steaks Crockpot Recipe
Submitted by: Sam Allen Miller, CA
Slow cooked ham is the best way to have pork. I love pork meat that can be shredded with a fork. This country ham steak recipe is great and my family loves it because the pork is so soft and the green beans complete the meal. Very good way for making pork.
Crockpot Country Ham Steaks Recipe Ingredients
2 pound ham (precut slabs or whole)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp pepper
2/3 cup cider vinegar
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 cups green beans
Crockpot Country Ham Steaks Recipe Directions
First boil the green beans for about 15 minutes. Combine the garlic powder, salt, pepper, brown sugar, and vinegar together in a large bowl. Use this to marinade the ham very well, rubbing it throughout. Add the ham into the crockpot and pour any left over marinade into the crockpot. Place the green beans over the ham and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours for a very delicious meal.
