I love chicken marsala and this is a very simple recipe that I always use. The first time cooking chicken marsala in the Crockpot was a very good meal. The Crockpot makes a great thick sauce and the chicken is very tender. The first time cooking chicken marsala in the Crockpot was a very good meal. The flavor from the wine seems to pull into the chicken more using the Crockpot.
Chicken Marsala Recipe Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1/4 cup of flour
1/4 cup Chopped parsley
1/2 cup Marsala wine
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms

Mix most of the flour with the salt and pepper and cover the chicken breast in this mixture. In a skillet brown the chicken breast on both sides and place in the Crockpot. Add the wine and mushrooms to the skillet and let heat for about 10 minutes, while tossing and stirring. Sprinkle the left over flour onto the chicken breast and pour the sauce over. Allow to cook on low for 6 hours. Use the parsley to garnish the finished chicken marsala.
